    Hi everyone,

I have a dm3t that comes with Win7 Home Premiumand I want to wipe the HD and do a fresh install.

I do have a Win7 CD already from my other computer, but that one is Professional. Will that allow me to install Home?

only if you have a valid, legal license for Win7 Pro.

You have to take the disk, remove the ei.cfg file, and reburn it. Otherwise it will only install Professional.

My copy of Win7 Professional is valid. I just want to use it to install Win7 Home on my new HP (because that's what it came with).
