    Hey there folks,

    Dirver-wise, can I install Windows 7 on a Mini 1001TU?

Also, can you install additional RAM? And does it void the warranty?

    Cheers folks,

EDIT: How does this machine rack up against Dell's Mini 9? Which one is considered the better pick?

It looks as if several people have been successful getting Windows 7 to run on the Mini 1000: http://myhpmini.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9&sid=bbdbfdf796d57e217413788cf39c1dcc

Yes, RAM is user replaceable via a hatch on the bottom of the Mini 1000. It does not void the warranty

Many people consider the Mini 1000 to be a better value than the Dell. It has a better keyboard and more space to store files due to it's physical hard drive.
