    Hi,
I'm ordering an HP dv9700t notebook, and it comes with 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive inside of it. Is it possible for me to add a 2nd internal hard drive? If I can, which hard drives are available for installing (hopefully a 7200rpm drive)?

and oh yeah, will this void the warranty?

You can add any 2.5" HD as long as its SATA. You will need an bracket and adapter which you can buy from HP for around 30$.

No it will not void your warranty.

I am doing the same thing. I am going to add the 200gb 7200rpm. I actually am going to make it my primary and use the slower 250gb as the scondary to store all my media!
Here is the bracket part number 434106-001. It is 35 and change!
