I have a 5 month old V2000 pentium 1.3ghz I purchased as best buy in September. I'd like to upgrad from my current 512Kram to 2Gig. Is this possible with two sticks of memory and if so, what brand/type do you recommend?

    Thanks!

Yes, it is possible. You will have to use 2 X 1GB RAM. Use a reputable beand like Crucial, Kingston, Corsair or OCZ. The V2000 should have come with DDR memory. The newer models(I thnk) use DDR2. Just check this by using a utility like CPU-Z. It shoudl let you know the type and speed of the memory currently in the laptop.
