    I was wondering if I can use an external hdd for my laptop for backing up my computer? I have an HP Pavilion dv7-3188cl? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

    Don't know why no one answered........Yes of course you can, I backed up my nextbook tablet with a 2tb already
