    I was looking though HP laptops and I need to know the difference between 1366x768 and 1440x900.Which is better and looks good

    the 1440x900 is a different ratio, it will look better at 15"

    you will know only if you have experience when you pay near pc mall nearby you like bestbuy and look by yourself to both resolution.

    Well personally I would go with the 1440x900, the 1366x768 would display things alittle to big.. this is only my opinion though..

    Well i'll put it like this 16" 1366x768 or 17'3" 1440x900 and thanx for you all post

    One more question is 1600x900 a good resolution for a 17" screen

    The higher the resolution, the smaller everything will be on the screen. And the better games will look, but make sure your games will be playable on the native res by the graphics card. ;)

    Resolution is a personal preference. As said, you have to see and decide for yourself. Personally, i like 1440x900 on a 17". 1600x900 is too small for my liking. On a 15" and 14" i also like 1440x900. Although they do appear different on every screen size as well. ;)
