Can any HDX owners tell me what kind of 1394 chipset it uses?

I am trying to find out if the HDX offers a Texas Instruments 1394 chipset.

Can someone do me a favor and go into the device manager and look under 1394 controllers and tell me what kind it has.

(i.e. Ricoh OHCI Compliant... , Agere OHCI Compliant... , TI OHCI Compliant... , etc...)

    Thanks.

Which HDX are you referring to? There's 3 of them now.

Any one of them. I'm most interested in the HDX18, but I know nobody has one of those yet. I'm also assuming that whatever they've used in one they've used in all.

    Thanks

Not necessarily. The HDX 9000 was made by Inventec. The HDX16/18 appear to be made by Quanta. So best bet is to ask in the appropriate forum.

In any event, on the HDX 9000, it's RICOH.

Yeah, I suppose it would depend on who the ODM is. Well, thanks for the info on the 9000.
