Can any of the DV7 (17.3" screen) owners recommend a good, comfy cooler?

I'm looking for a cooler that is both good, and I can use on my laptop. I saw the Notepal U3, but after reading reviews I heard it wasn't comfortable lying down and using it on your lap.

I don't want to spend $30 AND another $25 on a lap desk, so is there something with the best of both worlds and actually fits/cools the DV7?

Do you own a DV7? Do you think it'd fit? It looks much cooler and more comfortable than the U3.

Then again, the U3 has adjustable fans so it'd probably cool it better...

I don't have my DV7T yet, its in the hands of Fedex, which is why I'm looking for a cooler.

The person who wrote this review does have a DV7 and mentions it in the review, check it out here: NotePal X3 Product Review

I'm also looking at these alternatives. They are pricier, but I think of better build quality. Zalman & Lian-Li both have an excellent reputation with their products. I'm not familiar with NZXT. These are all aluminum construction, which I like better than plastic. I'm still doing research and reading specs and reviews, but hopefully will make a purchase this weekend.

Personally I would rather pay 70.00 once for a quality cooler, rather than 25-35.00 a bunch of times. I've gone through 5 or 6 different coolers over the course of the 5 years I've owned my Dell XPS M1330.

    NZXT Cryo: NZXT Cryo LX

    Hope this info helps,

    Les.

My buddy uses a box of staples under his DV7.

The reviews on that were pretty good. For the money I think its a good choice. Let us know how it works out.

I will, just got worried because of the location of the vents on the DV7, so hopefully it cools it a bit
