This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I have an HP DV6458SE notebook and, in addition to motherboard problems, the hard drive has now crashed. I ordered a new hard drive today, but I don't have the recovery disks for the notebook. Thus, I'm wondering if anyone has a set of disks for this computer and if so, whether you would be willing to share them with me. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. :)

    Sorry, but copies of OEM software(like Recovery cds) cannot be shared on the forums. However, if you contact HP they will be able to provide the CDs for little to no charge.
