    Can i get rid of compaq screen at start up

    Hey guys

    this is a minor thing, but its really started to peeve me: when i power the comp on, it will go to compaq screen w/ boot options, windows logo screen with the blue bars, and then black screen, and then it goes to an orange compaq screen. Is there anyway to stop it from going to the orange compaq screen?

    The orange screen appears right after the Windows logo shows the blue bars and right before the Welcome screen?

    Why would you want to get rid of it, its up for like 2 seconds if that. I dont think you can its programed into the os by hp. But when theres a will theres a way I guess.

    That seems like something that would disappear after doing a full reformat (meaning, doesn't sound like something programmed into the BIOS like the Compaq boot screen).
