    Can someone good at photoshop "lay over" this 2 hp dock connector for me?

    The plug plugs into the HP, but the pin in wrong, the plug has 32 pins, while the notebook has 40 pins

    Can someone good at photoshop "lay over" this 2 hp dock connector for me, and then upload it back here so I can see why the connector still fits and if there are any short circuit?

    I did it myself, but the pins were mostly misaligned

    Of those 8 pins, I wonder what they took out.

    I think thats what the dock 2 to dock 3 (or vice versa) adapter does...
