    Just bought a Seagate 7200.3 320GB HD for my DV5 with the intention of swapping it the Fujitsu 250gb slow piece of **** and was wondering is it possible to have both running at the same time?

    I guess when I pop it open tonight I'll see but anyway thought I might ask you guys first. :)

    No, there is only enough room for one drive.

    I think you can swap the optical drive for a Hard drive using a special caddy. It will still run on the SATA interface. Like this
