Running Win XP on dv2000t. The Windows shutdown menu has 3 options which are RESTART, TURN OFF and STANDBY. When I click STANDBY the computer appears to turn off. I can't get it to turn back on except by restarting with the power button. Is there some special key combination I need to know? Apparently the computer shuts off when I click STANDBY.

Does anybody have a similar problem or know what I'm doing wrong?

    TIA Bill S.

I usually just open the screen and it wakes up, or hit spacebar.

You might be having sleep issues.
