I have just install win XP on dv2500t. At the second boot( after copy all file to my computer), it say that hal.dll is missing, need to be reinstall. I tried many solution: copy new hal.dll from CD to windows\system32\, bootcfg /rebuilt, expand hal.dl_ to windows\system32. But all not work. My hard drive is Seagate Momentus 160GB. I find on the internet, some people say that because dynamic drive overlay(ddo), I don't know what it is. Please help me, urgent !

Have you tried the XP install sticky guide up top? I'm pretty sure that there's a download in it for all the necessary drivers.
