 I have windows home premium on a presario v6000 and everytime I need to visit a website that requieres Adobe Flash Player, It tells me that it is not installed, it gives me the link to the Adobe site and I download it, at the end it tells me that it installed succesfully but when I go to the site again, I get the same message, I have installed this so many times but it seems not to work,,,I cant get youtube videos to work,...any ideas of what may be causing the problem?

A few things (probably not so helpful) but here is what I did when I had similar issue, in no particular order to try...

    1. I uninstalled flash and reinstalled it from the file downloaded to the destop.
    2. I made sure that my wireless router was working properly, as it turned out, it was faulty and dropping signal and gave me the flash issue not working..replaced wireless router, working fine now.
    3. Other things to try...download firefox web broser and try that as a replacement, many say its far superior to IE, quick easy download
    4. Be sure you are logged in as the admin as there have been issues (with XP mostly I think) that flash had issues working on user accounts on same machine...

Again, my issue turned out to be my router dropping signal. I knew it was slow but thought it was network issue as for the most part it worked...it was the culprit that caused you tube to fail...

Let us know how you finally fix it!
