I am considering purchasing the NX8220 as a portable laptop for school and work. From www.hp.ca, there are only two models available. The problem is, both have features that I want, but neither has all of the features I want.

I prefer the 64MB video card over the 128MB of the cheaper model, as it will extend the battery life; however, I would rather have the WSXGA+ screen resolution of the more expensive model. HDD space and the DVD burner aren't really an issue, but I wouldn't mind having the more robust features of the more expensive model.

There aren't many reviews of this laptop out there, so any input would be appreciated.

Which model would you recommend for me? Are there any problems with this laptop that I should be aware of?

    hi,

i just recently purchused the PU314UA, probably a month or more and i really don't have any big problems or issues as of yet. Theres a whole bunch of reviews and threads on this model if you search down abit....with regular usage, like surfing, music and word processing i get like 4 hours on the battery, so i say go for he PU314UA if you can and battery life is all your worried about.
