I've been waiting for a dv2000 with core2duo for months now. Finally, a few weeks ago HP told me c2d models will be released November 1st.
So today I go check, and every single godamn model is out with a c2d except the dv2000.
    This is really really aggravating.

Well taking that into mind, i called them up.
Now they claim that the dv2000 series has been discontinued and they won't be offering one with the core 2 duo.
I really wish I could speak to someone corporate side of the Canadian office who actually knows anything about their product lines.

Ya i see the commercials all the time here too (on US stations).
It is making no sense to me... at this point I just want a new laptop, and may have to settle for something that isn't quite what i want.
dv2000 had everything i wanted... now i'll have to go with either a bigger screen, or without the webcam from like dell.

I'm not far, about 1.5 hours.
I'm worried about customs. Also, what store sells the dv2000t with a c2d that I can just buy, and not have to order?

    Yo Dementor,

Where do you live? I live in Vancouver

I want a DV200T as well and I'm going to plan a way to a CTO in the states and go pick it up. I'm willing to pay duties (15%) cuz it still worth it. If you're around here then maybe we could work on this together.
