Another irritant I have found with Vista. Vista does not recognize PC2003 and earlier.I would have thought that with both OS's being MS they would be compatable but it is not. Also you cannot install Activsync on Vista so I guess if you have an older PDA you toss it.Anybody have any other ideas how to sync outlook ?

Thanks for the heads up. -
Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 is fully compatible with Windows Mobile 2003 devices and later.
Basic connectivity support for Windows Embedded CE 4.2, 5.0, Pocket PC 2002, and Smartphone 2002 devices - Connect over USB and serial, use desktop passthrough using the PCs internet connection, and file browse.
-- Although, I guess you could cruise the net and see if anyone else is actually still using win 2002 and see what they are doing.
The proper place to ask would be: http://discussion.wmexperts.com/ .. these are smartphone/pda people... this site (or section of this site) is for HP notebooks....
