    i cant what so ever. i have a Compaq v3000z with lightscribe. is there some kind of driver? cause i checked the discs that came wit the upgrade, it did not have any drivers for the drive. :mad:

    What do u mean u cant burn discs? are these LS discs or normal discs? do u receive some sort of error msg?

    What software are you using to burn the discs?? HP includes Roxio DM 9 which should have the necessary stuff to burn the LS discs.

    i tried dvd-rs and cd-rw. they work with XP. i tried the software with hp in vista, no luck. tried nero same thing!
