    Care Pack Warranty Coverage for HP ENVY 17 3D 3000?

    I got the two year care pack warranty for my Envy when I ordered it about 4 months ago. It has two chips now on the paint along the bottom border between the aluminium body and black magnesium base. I also have a nearly-microscopic scratch/chip on the right palm rest, but I would have to look for it to see it.

    ANYWAY.

    No actual problems have developed, but I get really bothered by cosmetic defects on my property. Assuming that something bad happens to my computer within the next 1.5 years, would I be able to ask them to replace these scratched pieces? Or would that be outside of the coverage of even the care pack? :confused:

    The ADP/Care Pack does not cover cosmetic damage.

    You mentioned you purchased a 2 year carepack from HP. Did you purchase the ADP carepack?

    Yes - the package says: "HP 2y ADP 3dOnsite Consumer 2y NB HWSupp"
