I'm having a tough time finding a good case for the new laptop.

What I would REALLY like is a top-loading leather brief without wheels that I can unzipper all the way and use on the bus/train without removing the laptop from the case.

    Any ideas?

Suggestions for other types cases are welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

It sounds like a good plan but if you use your laptop while its inside a case there will be very little venting and you will have heat issues. I use a Wenger Yukon for my laptop but I don't think I'd try and run it while its in the case. Just something to consider since heat is going to be a concern with this laptop.

Ah, I should have said without removing it *entirely* from the case. You're right Reby and I had already thought of that - I hope to raise it above the surface of the case when it is powered on. The hard part is, the seats are just too small to be pulling a 17" lappy out of a traditional messenger or backpack.

Thanks for the replies - keep 'em coming!
