I recently purchased a dv9000t, and now I need a case for it (Yes, I have looked through the Accessories forum!). The problem is that most of the cases for a 17" notebook say that they fit "most 17 inch laptops". The problem is that this laptop does not fit into that category.

Does anyone know of a good case that will fit this laptop? I'd really like to find a backpack type. I actually have a Swiss Gear Pagasus pack, but the notebook does not fit in there.

I was thinking of getting the booq python xl case for mine. Since their laptop sleeves are pretty much for apple notebooks only, I plan on getting a sumdex impactguard sleeve to go along with it. If you don't plan on carrying as much as me, try the booq boa case.

I've got a Targus 17" backpack for my 9030. It fits great in it.

I would back the Targus ones as well. They come with life-time warrenty.

(I've only got a backpack that fits 15.4" notebooks, since that's what I have, but Targus are very good makes!)

Some stitching had come undone on mine. So I contacted Targus the other day about it. They're sending out a new one.

HP could learn a lot from that sort of customer care!

I would avoid crumpled - their bags and services are low quality standard

I love my Targus Neoprene laptop sleeve-light, portable, waterproof, and fits nicely into any backpack (provided it is big enough).
