    as some of you might have noticed ati/amd has decided to remove access to the driver from the general public... they will probably put it up again but... until then here is the link

    The mob ones... they're in the list, but when you take the time to try and download one you get a load of info stating that you can't anymore. (That's teh mistake I made, I just saw the mob ones in the list and assumed that you could just go ahead and download like normal)

    Do those official catalyst drivers from amd/ati work with all mobility? Even old ones like a 9600? I've always been using Omega Radeon drivers.

    Because AMD/ATI sucks, they don't have a good policy to support Open Source, and now they don't release drivers for windows to end user, we always should go for nVidia.

    I was just about to ask for the Vista 32bit version when I found this:
    http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/ Its a tool which somehow mods the original driver to install on your laptop. Just follow the provided instructions. :D
