I would like to change the battery option in my new dv6-3050us so that when the battery reaches 10%, it won't automatically put itself to sleep. In my previous laptop it would tell me when the battery is 25% and then it would warn me at 10%, but would only sleep at 2%.

I liked my previous laptop better in terms of battery settings. I can't seem to find out where I can change the settings for this though.

If you are using Vista or Windows 7

Its under power option >> find your active power plan >> change plan settings >> advanced power settings >> expand Battery
