I got an HP DV6699eo with the Intel core 2 duo T5250 with 1.50 GHz with 667 MHz and with 2mb L2 cache. i got some information that i could have the T9500 and T9300 and they both got 6mb cache and with 800MHz. my chipset can take 800MHz but i dont know if it can take 6mb cache. i was wondering if i could change my cpu

the cache size shouldn't make a difference. in regards to upgrading, you can either send it in and have the CPU upgraded professionally, or get the CPU off of ebay and do it yourself (and probably void your warranty).

Aslong as its a Intel C2D Socket P processor. L2 cache size doesnt matter.

    You can upgrade to
    T7250
    T7500
    T8100
    T8300
    T9300
    T9500

The T8300 (2.4ghz) is the bang for buck processor.
