I am so mad right now as I waited 6 weeks for my computer and the day that it was deliver to my house my brother booted it and put in a username which I don't want. I was looking forward to doing this thing myself forever!
Now I can easily change the name of the account but the subfolders and settings created will still use the older one. Is there a way to reset the thing entirely without having to reinstall the OS and drivers and software.

I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW. Wow,

Isn't it much easier to create a new admin user?
    You're not missing much anyways.

Fixing all the references isn't easy, much easier to goof up and destroying the account.

A clean install is a big hassle for a user who has no base experience their new laptop. Plus it's harder to determine and convince HP if there is a problem with the laptop.

Give a few weeks to be at least satisfied with the laptop before bothering an attempt to do a clean install.
