    Hi,

I've just bought a Compaq NC 6320 and no matter what angle I'm looking at the screen from, about 1/3 of its area is always darker and less saturated than the rest. The area affected depends on the viewing angle.

I've compared the screen to several others (including that of my old Compaq notebook), and none of them have this problem (slight "vignetting" near the edges is visible on some, but not nearly as noticeably). I work with imaging software a lot, and it's really annoying to have large parts of my images desaturated.

Is this what this model's supposed to be like? Or is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks,
    Peter
