I'm having quite the time with my charger connecting with my Pavillion ZD7000. If I spin the charger cord around I can usually find a point where it connects, but recently stopped connecting altogether.

I'm sure moving it around to get a contact with the charger and computer only made the problem worse, but I was curious if this problem is fixable or ruined. The computer is out of warranty.

    Appreciate your time and help.

    *fixed*
Seems you can use a HP XC1000 media cable to by pass the problem.

depends on where the problem is, in the laptop or the charger. the charger is easily replaceable, but the laptop, it may not be. My dad's Acer's charging pin fell off and Acer told him he would have to change the WHOLE motherboard just cuz of it! I think you need to ask HP probably or something
