I've recently installed Win XP without trouble on my HP Pavilion dv6525eo. It's and AMD Turion64 X2-powered machine, and I can't find any drivers for the chipset and network. It's some kind of nForce chipset, but it's actually very hard to find out which. I've tried downloading various nForce chipset drivers, but after the unpacking procedure the install window just disappears. This happens in Vista too, by the way.
Has anyone actually managed installing Win XP successfully on an AMD-powered HP (delivered with Vista), and if so, which drivers did you use?

Hmm... I see that the network and chipset drivers are available for the previous dv6000z series:

but not the dv6500z series notebook you have. You could try them, the Go 7150 you have isn't that much different than the Go 6150, but Bad Things might happen. If you're lucky the installer will let you deselect everything except the network driver, that's the only thing you really need. -
Nope, it worked just as bad as the other chipset drivers I've downloaded.

I have almost same problem, for chipset you can use vista drivers from Hp site , but for network they didn't work
