    I think you are better off buying it at HPShopping. For the same specs, it is a little more expensive, but you can upgrade to a 5400RPM hard drive which will make a big difference performance wise. Plus you won't have to pay tax and there is only a $50 rebate. You could also downgrade the CPU which won't make as big a difference.

    You don't need to wait for 2 weeks though. Even including taxes it is still good price.

    Well another problem from buying on the internet is the potential hassle. Like for example, HP accidentally puts in a 4200 rpm drive when you asked for a 5400 rpm. You then either accept it or wait another week to send it back and have them replace it.

    How do you do that Circuit City's hard drive is 4200?

    Also,will CC's 512 of ram be 1 dimm or 2?

    Extended battery is now $39 more. As a NYer I have to pay tax but I get an APP discount.
