    Hi,

I got a brand new hp envy beats and I tried to do a clean install with these drivers from HP.com

    - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Driver

    - Intel Chipset Driver

    - ATI Mobility Radeon HD Series Video/Graphics Driver

    - HP Quick Launch Buttons

    - Synaptics Touchpad Driver

(I didn't install the rest because I think those aren't neccessary)

Software & Driver Downloads - HP Customer Care (United States - English)...

HP Envy 15-1055se Beats Limited Edition Notebook PC

After the installation, all the fn key (increasing/decreasing volume/brightness, web, mail, calc, fn b for beats audio) works well. But I can not see the on screen display (volume indicator or beats logo...) like before.

Please help me to find out which driver/application I need to install.

    Thank in advance!

I'd also like to find this out... I didnt mind having the audio bar when I clicked my up/down audio buttons.

I did a clean OEM disc install and the keys work, but no bars now.

    anyone?

I believe this is part of the HP quick launch button package.

You HAVE to install the MEDIASMART SOFTWARE PACKAGE to enable the visual adjustments. And I mean the PACKAGE because MediaSmart SmartMenu and MediaSmart DVD won't just do.

A great alternative for the on-screen volume is 3RVX. You can download it here: matt.malensek

This is a great post, but I still have a couple of questions. I have the latest Synaptics drivers loaded, but I cannot get the light in the upper left hand corner to go out. Double tapping does nothing. Also, I installed the IDT audio driver, but I cannot seem to find the beats driver?? Where can I find the beats console to control that audio card??
