The problems with my dv6000 seem to be mounting.

I have now noticed a clicking sound coming from inside the computer. It it NOT coming from the speakers. It's a faint click, and seems to happen when the processor is in use (not idling).

Any ideas of what this could be? My notebook is only 3 weeks old and there have been a number of issues with this thing.

My first guess would be hard drive. If a hard drive starts clicking, it usually means that it is failing.

Yeah, its probably the hard disk drive. You might want to check and make sure.

This is kinda obvious but make sure the adapter is plugged (the end that goes into the computer not wall socket) in all the way. When mine's not on my zv6000 I get a clicking sound as well.
    good luck
