    Hello,

I have a Compaq Presario V2135 notebook. I notice since i get the notebook that the color of the screen is too blueish.

I love digital photography, so the color of my pictures is very important to me.

I had tried to fix it with the video card software and with Adobe Gamma. But i cant. With Adobe Gamma i improve the color a bit.

Is there any known issue with this notebook about the color? or with the video card?

I would appreciate a lot any help that you could give me.

    Thanks,

    Marceloc

    Thanks, :)

I don't know of any specific issues with this notebook, but having a "yellow" or "bluish" color for something that should be white is a common defect in LCDs so unfortunately you'd be kind of stuck with this, you can't adjust graphics settings or the video card to resolve such an issue.

I'm not sure how long you've had it, but if it's relatively new, look into repacing it with the place of purchase, or at the very least compare it with one they have on display.

In the worst case, maybe you have a failed LCD panel and it needs to be replaced. If that's the case, I hope you have the good fortune that I have had with HP service.

    Best Wishes!
