The computer itself isn't up to par with what I would want but it's decent enough and it was a gift. The only real problem I see with it is the fact that when I'm listening to music with the sound muted (bare with me). Everything's fine. If I have headphones hooked up and the mute off, everythings fine. If I'm listening to music with the internal speakers the computer slows down tremendously. I have no idea what causes this but the sound skips and when I click icons it takes 5 - 10 seconds for any response from the pc. I can't for the life of me figure out what's causing this exactly. Thought I'd come here and see if anyone else could lend some expertise. Thanks in advance.

Well I thought I'd update both the UAA driver and sound driver and seems to be working better. Though still a little sluggish. Can't complain if it's better than it was I suppose.
