    hi,

    I recently purchased an intel wifi link 5100 for my hp/compaq 6720s but I discovered that the BIOS does not support that card. Anyone can provide a solution?

    HP locks the BIOS to accept only HP certified wifi cards. You'll probably have to edit the bios to accept the new wifi card.

    There is no easy way to edit the bios. Search the web, there are lots of suggestions on how to proceed from people who have tried it with Thinkpads and other HP laptops. On thing to remember that its definitely not something the average person can do and you can end up not being able to boot if not done correctly so proceed with caution.
