    Hello,

    I recently bought a Compaq 6720s 2.0 Core2duo, 2GB ram, X3100 graphics.. (with Vista Home basic

I have a terrible problem with graphics on VIsta. THe taskbar shifts to the left.. and all the menus go blank.. even the windows explorer/my computer.

I have tried drivers from Intel's website and the CDrom .. but everything is in vain.

    Screenshots are:

I can stimulate the problem by opening many windows (can be termed as overloading)..

    Is this a hardware problem?

Can any one please assist me out?

You are so right.. but a more cheaper version of it is running Vista pretty well.. (1.6 GHz .. 1 GB.. 6720s)..
