    Compaq Armada 1700 - BIOS

    This notebook has the Compaq splash screen. I have tried F2, F8 & F12 before the splash screen as well after. I can't get into the BIOS. Can someone help with this?

    Does it still have the original hard disk? I think the setup program is located on a diagnostic partition on the hard disk, if that's gone you can download the setup program onto a floppy from HP's website.
