have an Armada V300 with a 13" screen. I've obtained a second hand 14" screen/lid same model. Although I've fitted the new screen and lid, the display is garbled although desktop is fine (W2000). The connectors on the old screen were 4, those on the replacement were 3. As the screen is working of a sort, is there any modification possible to get it working properly?
Old screen is limited to 800 resolution, the new screen gives me 1024, although I have tried various resolution and screen colour settings in various combinations. Also checked I have latest driver from HP/Compaq site.
    Any help would be appreciated.
