    Dear all,

I have compaq presario 700. About two years ago its battery stopped being charged and from then on, I use the laptop like a pc with its wire pluged into socket.
Yesterday, when I did so the computer did not start. After about 15 minutes playing with it!!!!!!!!!! it started.

Today the same problem happened again but after several hours it's not turned on yet.
Does anyone know any solution that I can turn it on one more time and transfer my data. Is any emergency way to turn the laptop on?
All my works were in stored in it and I greatly appreciate any help.

    Thanks all

Just to share my experience, now after few days I have came to this conclusion that the power board or keys have some problem because after pressing some keys around the power one (playing with them ;) ) it finally starts.
