    Hi,

I hopeful someone may be able to give me some advice.

The bottom third of my screen on my laptop began to mess about a while ago, it went either blank or had lines running down it. The problem was intermittent but over time got worse, I put it in to be fixed, but after the repairer had tried another screen he said the problem was still there, so it must be a problem on the motherboard. However yesterday the screen started working like there was nothing wrong with it? when I switch it on the bottom of the screen is blank then appears and works fine.

    Any ideas??

    Many Thanks

Umm, did the repair tech also replace the ribbon cable between LCD and motherboard? I'm pretty sure that's where the problem lies.
