Hi there i just bought a new Compaq C310EA laptop. it has P4 1.66Ghz 1Gig ram and Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family.
Now my reason to post this thread is i am getting very low graphics though i have set the resolution to 32 bit color and 1280x800 pixels. But i can feel the difference between my old E Machine PC and this laptop. So anybody please help me here that what should i do to improve my video performance.
    Thanks in advance..

Can you explain what you mean by very low graphics?

Maybe you just need to get used to the new screen.

Also, try updating your video card drivers.

And I believe your laptop does not have a Pentium 4, but by saying P4 in the specs above it seems so even though it doesn't. :)

    Try increasing the brightness (fn+f7/8)

    It has following processor tye
    Intel® Centrino® Mobile Technology
    • Intel® Core™ Solo Processor T1300
    • 1.66 GHz , Level 2 cache 2 MB, 667 MHz Bus speed
    • Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Integrated Wireless LAN

    and
    Display size
15.4” WXGA High Definition BrightView Widescreen

    Display resolution
    1280 x 800

    Video adapter
    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950

    Video RAM
Up to 128 MB shared video memory

Actually what i am trying to say is: when you full screen any video / DVD it becomes blurry. like you have very low resolution. even in normal screen the video quality is not much sharp, low brightness, colour etc. I played same movie at the same time in ma destop system and you can feel a big difference. :(

    its allready full.
