    Does anyone have anything good, bad, or any other statement about the Compaq Presario C500T. Would appreciate any opinion. TIA

    I don't like that computer. The design is very old (in computer years) and you can usually pick up something better for about the same price. Check out the Laptop Deals.

    Yep, HP is milking the almost 2-year old V5000 series design for all it's worth with the C500 series. The F500 and the V6000/V6500 series machines are better.

    I think the only reason it still exists is that Compal had a serious overabundance of parts when HP slated the series for retirement last year. I would think that supply is pretty much exhausted now, so I don't expect to see it on the CTO site much longer.

    Some crazy deals have appeared for the C500 over the last few months, maybe another one will before the end...........
