    Hi,

    I have a Compaq CQ35-331TX. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01915039&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=4065535
The default ram module is a Kingston ram.

I would like to upgrade my ram module. Therefore, I purchased a premium Kingston HyperX ram module.
    It's a 2x2GB memory kit (product code#KHX6400S2ULK2/4G)
    http://www.kingston.com/hyperx/products/khx_sodimm.asp

There is no display with these new ram modules. Power is up but there is no display.
I tried the ram modules on my other Acer notebook and it boot up flawlessly.

I reckon this is a bios issue and ram compatibility issue.
Can anyone assist me in solving this?

P/S I have already flashed to latest bios, F13A

Try using just 1 ram chip, then a different one, then in a different slot. If you can get any kind of boot with those methods run memtest86 to check for errors. Though it works on the Acer, so it sounds more like the CQ35.

Where did you find a CQ35? Couldn't find one anywhere

The CQ35 is subject to a similar BIOS bug that the DV5- and DV4- were subject to. Update the system BIOS to the latest version, then try the RAM modules again. There was a 2GB Module Addressing issue handled on those boards recently.
