I purchased this computer today and have been having issues with the mouse freezing/sticking, leaving me to reboot quite often, i've called their tech support and they had me delete drivers, reinstall drivers, update drivers, etc. Which works for about 45min to an hour and then it freezes again. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Use an external mouse? I'm not sure if it's the touchpad or the drivers... But darn near all USB mice are plug & play.

If you're using the battery try AC power and see if that stops this issue, because other posts here have mentioned this problem and a fix was getting a better battery.

Has anyone solved this problem? I'm positive it's not battery or A/C related. I've had it happen both plugged in and running on battery. The laptop came with Vista installed and it froze up then. I've also installed 2 or 3 linux distros and am currently using windows 7 - it has frozen up in each of those OS's.

Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
