    I bought this laptop second hand three weeks ago. i have installed an additional 2gb ram so now have 3gb i had to get it from Maplin as the other computer shop couldn't get theirs to work in my machine.

    The battery needs replacing URGENTLY, I ordered one from ebay its a compatible one, unfortunately it didn't work at all so i need to send it back. I'm kind of thinking should i spend so much money on a laptop i'll probably only have for two years or whenever i can either buy or WIN in a competition?

    Where can i get the replacement battery without going to HP to get one, i expect HP would be very expensive?

    Overall, i am happy but with it having a sempron processor its not the best but means i would have to replace the laptop for something more powerful asap shame i cannot upgrade the processor as i like to use Second Life and some other desktop games.

    Also, i noticed that it burns quite hot from what i hear other people have this problem. The fan is on the top far left of the machine Are there any worthwhile coolers i could use with a view to changing the laptop for something else in the future?
