    Hi,
I know I'm a first time poster, but if someone could help I'd appreciate it.

I recently purchased the Compaq Presario CQ50-110us notebook for college, but loaded some old games on there to test performance. Something I noticed though is that in all the games Ive tried, touch pad/mouse lag is present. Making most games unplayable, despite good performance(frame rate). Is this common among CQ notebooks? I know its not just the games, Ive tried a broad group. Halo 1, 2, Prince of persia, Unreal Tournament 1/2004, etc.

Anyway, for everything else i recommend this notebook. Play dvd's, runs office, financial programs, and browses the web fairly well. The Battery life is about 2 hours and recharges fast. So for the most part, it makes a great student laptop. For 499 from circuit city, it still feels like a great deal(I'm a first time laptop owner though)

    here are the specs.
