This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Compaq EVO 1020V boot up probs...!!!

    The prob is; does not boot all,
    Light comes on
    no boot
    then turns itself off within 10- 20 sec...

    I would like any advice on how to remedy this problem,
    as I have had modem repair success in the past,
    ready to take it on, appreciate any advice
