    Hi there.

A friend of mine has a problem, her Compaq EVO n1050v laptop froze during a BIOS update and is now rendered unbootable.

Can anyone suggest what the next course of action is?

I don't know this range at all, so I'm clueless if there's a user-DIY-able solution to this or our only option is to take it into HP.

    Thankyou!
