I have a Compaq Evo N800v laptop. Something weird started happening recently. Whenever the laptop is shut down (either windows shutdown, or close the lid and go into hibernation) it won't boot back up right away. What I mean by right away is I have to turn it on and off like 15 - 20 times before it will boot up. When I turn it on I see the COMPAQ logo with F10=ROM Based Setup and it just sits there and does nothing. So I turn it off, then turn it on and I have to do this like 15 - 20 times and finally it will show the windows XP logo or the hibernation thing and come on. Once it's on it works great. No problems at all.

    Any ideas?
