    Hello all,

I've owned this laptop for a few years with no issues. Then, in the last few days I've had a random screen/system crashing issue. Here is a picture of what happens

I can manually power down the laptop and power it back up and it will run fine. It did it once more after a power cycle, and hasn't done it again yet, but I have a feeling it may happen again.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

    Thank you very much

    David

Looks like the image didn't show up...

It is displaying a gray screen with white diagonal lines across the entire screen, and again you can't get out of it other than manually powering down...

I've seen similar happen when LCD cable is broken. New cable isn't too expensive so it could be first thing to try.
